Mission

Our non-profit organization aims to promote scientific knowledge and professional development becoming the liaison for veterinarians and students interested in wild fauna (wildlife, zoo and non-conventional companion animals) through research , education, training, distribution of scientific  information and consultancy activities fostering the improvement of vocational training.

Vision

To become  the highest –quality professional association for veterinary medicine in the Republic of Albania developing training programs in the field of veterinary medicine, management and conservation of wildlife both free-ranging and in captivity, including non-conventional companion animals, through courses, seminars, congresses, scientific meetings, symposiums, conferences , clinical forums, field practices in Albania and the Balcans, publishing scientific papers and guidelines for native and exotic species.

Objectives

To establish exchange programs for professionals and students in the field of veterinary medicine of zoos, wild and unconventional animals, institutions, universities, zoos, dolphinarium, aquariums, conservation and breeding centers, and collections and private facilities, with similar associations in Albania and the rest of the world.

Develop guidelines for postgraduate programs in the field of veterinary medicine, management and conservation of zoo animals, wild and non-conventional companion animals.

Distribute and promote research in the field of veterinary medicine, management and conservation of zoonoses, of wild and exotic animals.

To sign interinstitutional agreements at a national and international levels to support postgraduate training of professionals and students in the field of veterinary medicine of zoos and non-conventional animals and wildlife.

Establish a scientific medical care group for animal populations in emergencies (natural disasters, and any type of contingencies) to advise governmental institutions responsible for these issues.
